With regular cleaning and maintenance using Alcoa® Wheels’ recommended cleaning products and procedures, you can retain the world-renowned shine of your vehicle’s Alcoa® wheels. Approved Cleaning Products
To maintain the integrity and visual appearance of your wheels, only Alcoa® Wheels cleaning and maintenance products are approved for use. As one of Europe’s largest Alcoa® Wheels Distributors, Tyretracks stocks a comprehensive range of approved maintenance and cleaning products to ensure the longevity of your wheels’ appearance and performance.
Brushed Finish Cleaning Procedure
Before washing your Alcoa® Wheels, ensure that your wheels are cool (below 35°C) to prevent rapid temperature changes that could affect the wheel’s surface; never wash a hot wheel.
- Rinse the wheel with water to remove debris that may scratch the wheels surface
- Use a mild non caustic detergent (ALclean) and soft bristle brush (ALbrush) to clean road film/dirt from your wheels
- Rinse the wheel with water again to remove excess soap
- Wipe the wheel dry with a soft cloth

ALclean
A mild chemical, non-caustic detergent, ALclean is manufactured and approved by Alcoa® Wheels. ALclean assists in removing road film, dirt, and oxidation from your wheel surface’s, including stubborn brake dust residue and road salt stains to maximise and maintain your wheels visual appearance.
ALbrush
A soft bristle brush featuring a rubber protective edge, manufactured and approved by Alcoa® Wheels. ALbrush supports the cleaning process by effectively removing road film and dirt from your wheels while preventing surface damage and scratches that can be caused by hard bristle brushes. The brush’s rubber edge acts as a protective bumper to protect the wheels from potential damage while cleaning your wheels.

Dura-Bright® Cleaning Procedure
Before washing your Alcoa® Wheels, ensure that your wheels are cool (below 35°C) to prevent rapid temperature changes that could affect the wheel’s surface; never wash a hot wheel.
· Rinse the wheel with water to remove debris that may scratch the wheels surface
· Use undiluted Dura-Bright® Wheel Wash to clean the road film and dirt from your wheel
· Use a soft bristle brush (ALbrush) to remove additional surface contaminants
· Rinse the wheel with water to ensure excess soap is removed
· Wipe the wheel dry with a soft cloth
