Alcoa® Wheels are the leading brand of aluminium wheels and advanced the transportation industry with the first forged aluminium wheel in 1948 and have been constantly improving it ever since.
1948
In 1948, the first forged aluminium truck wheel was invented.
1978
In 1978, the first aluminium truck wheel was introduced in Europe.
1997
In 1997, European production facility in Hungary opens its doors.
2006
In 2006, saw the first sales of easy maintenance Dura-Bright® wheels in Europe.
2015
In 2015, it was the Introduction of the LvL ONE® finish wheels in Europe.
2016
In 2016, Alcoa® Wheels was split into 2 companies, known as Alcoa Corporation and Arconic Inc. Alcoa® Wheels became part of Arconic Inc.
In 2020, Arconic Inc was split into 2 independent companies, Howmet Aerospace Inc and Arconic Corporation.
Alcoa® Wheels is now a product brand of Howmet Aerospace.
2019
In 2019, it was the introduction of Ultra ONE® ALCOA® WHEELS with MagnaForce® alloy technology in Europe.
