Cleaning

Cleaning your Alcoa wheels is really quite simple and by following the manufacturers recommended procedures it will help protect & extend the life of the finish on your wheels.

Brushed

Alcoa Brushed finish wheels cleaning procedure

Always let your wheels cool before washing! - NEVER WASH A HOT WHEEL.

Rinse with water before cleaning to remove anything that may scratch the wheel.

Alcoa suggest using a mild non caustic detergent to clean the road film / dirt from your wheels.

We also recommend that you only use a soft brush to wash your wheels as hard brushes can scratch the surface. Alcoa produce an excellent brush for this purpose called Albrush. The Albrush is a premium quality brush with a rubber edge that acts as a bumper to protect the wheels from being damaged during cleaning. This can be purchased in our shop.

Once cleaned, you can polish the wheels with a good quality aluminium polish. Personally we recommend White Diamond Metal Polish (as we have tested this product on our own trucks!). We also supply a very good labour saving tool called an Alfinish. - This is a fantastic labour saving device which will fit in the chuck of most electric / air drills and once spinning will develop into a large soft ball which can be used to buff the polish off the surface.

This polishing mop can be washed when dirty so it can be used time and time again (this can be purchased in our shop).
