Cleaning your Alcoa® Wheels is really quite simple and by following the manufacturers recommended procedures it will help protect & extend the life of the finish on your wheels.

Brushed
Alcoa® Wheels Brushed finish wheels cleaning procedure
Always let your wheels cool before washing! - NEVER WASH A HOT WHEEL.
Rinse with water before cleaning to remove anything that may scratch the wheel.
Alcoa® Wheels suggest using a mild non caustic detergent to clean the road film / dirt from your wheels.
We also recommend that you only use a soft brush to wash your wheels as hard brushes can scratch the surface. Alcoa® Wheels produce an excellent brush for this purpose called Albrush. The Albrush is a premium quality brush with a rubber edge that acts as a bumper to protect the wheels from being damaged during cleaning. This can be purchased in our shop.
Alcoa® Wheels produce a mild chemical called Alclean, it is a very good way of removing general day to day road film and dirt from you wheels and can also remove oxidisation from the surface too. It will remove most stubborn stains such as brake dust residue & road salt. This can be purchased in our shop.

LVL One ®
Alcoa® Wheels LVL One / Polished finish wheels cleaning procedure

For the LVL One / Mirror Polished finish wheel, Alcoa® Wheels suggest using a mild non caustic detergent to clean the road film / dirt from your wheels.

Dura-Bright ® Evo
Dura-Bright / Dura-Bright Evo Wheels Cleaning Procedure
Always let your wheels cool before washing! - NEVER WASH A HOT WHEEL.
Rinse with water before cleaning to remove anything that may scratch the wheel.
For the Dura-Bright Wheel, Alcoa® suggest using a mild, non-caustic detergent (for example common washing up liquid or soap) but the ph levels must be between 5 & 9 in diluted / ready to use state.
We also recommend that you only use a soft brush to wash Dura-Bright Wheels as hard brushes can scratch the surface. Alcoa® Wheels produce an excellent brush for this purpose called Albrush. The Albrush is a premium quality brush with a rubber edge that acts as a bumper to protect the wheels from being damaged during cleaning. This can be purchased in our shop.

Alcoa® Wheels produce a safe mild cleaner called Dura-Bright Wheel Wash that can be used as a weekly wash too, which you can use in place of soap. This is totally Dura-Bright safe and helps remove stubborn stains such as brake dust residue.
This product has been specially designed for Dura-Bright XBR & Dura-Bright Evo technology wheels and it comes ready to use so there is no need to dilute this product. This can also be purchased in our shop.
