Dura-Bright® is not a coating, but a surface treatment that penetrates the aluminium and becomes an integral part of the wheel. It will not chip, crack, peel or corrode, like conventional coatings do. The Dura-Bright® treatment is available in most Alcoa® Wheels sizes.
It has the benefit of being an easy clean wheel. You enjoy the beautiful finish that Alcoa® Wheels have become famous for but there is no polishing is involved to keep the wheels looking in pristine condition.
The latest Dura-Bright® finish is the Dura-Bright® EVO, these wheels distinguish themselves from the earlier Dura-Bright® wheels with XBR technology through an enhanced hydrofluoric acid resistance: 2-3 times improvement and a much higher chemical resistance: pH levels widened from 5-9 to 2-12.
Along with faster, easier maintenance, you get all the advantages you’ve come to expect from Alcoa® forged aluminium wheels.
